a Mimosa is on the ground floor and is a very large room, with an imposing four poster chestnut-wood bed with a small pelmet matching the light blue, light green and ivory colours of the bedspread. The third bed, similar in style to the double bed, is under the semi-arch with exposed brick tiles, adding to the room’s attractions. The window opens onto the garden and the old oak tree. The ceiling is in Tuscan brick tiles with two big 15th century chestnut beams, the only ones that remain from the original building. The bathroom has Philippe Stark fixtures that recall old-style buckets, and the comfortable shower is finished in sand-coloured stone.
